DOS Mission Statement

The Division of Plastic Surgery provides world-class care for adult and pediatric patients in the areas of:

  • Burn Reconstruction
  • Congenital Hand Conditions
  • Hand Trauma
  • Craniofacial Congenital Syndromes
  • Craniofacial Trauma
  • Whole System Tissue Transplantation
  • Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery
  • Restoring Body Function
  • Cancer Reconstruction

Our Division is intrinsically involved in training:

The Division of Plastic Surgery solves challenges in the body’s different systems. We have a diverse, world class surgeon in each of the following plastic surgery disciplines:

Patient care, teaching, and research activities focus on burns, hand surgery, microsurgery, craniofacial surgery, breast reconstruction and the frontiers of tissue transplantation. It is our mission to lead our field and the world through innovative technique and successful application here in the Pacific Northwest and via our trainees, the world!
