David Miranda – MD, MS
College Station, TX
I love all things surgery, infections, global health, sports, traveling, and playing outside.
I was born in South India and grew up in Texas. I studied philosophy at Johns Hopkins and spent time working on infectious diseases in South Africa, Haiti, India, and Guatemala before graduating from Harvard Medical School and starting general surgery residency at the University of Washington. It is a real privilege to train in this program which serves such a diverse population of patients and to learn from peers and mentors who exemplify daily how to be the best doctors, scientists, and leaders.
